Erica Ortiz

Erica Ortiz was appointed to the Rowan University Foundation Board of Directors in 2012.

Ms. Ortiz is the Managing Partner/Founder of MediosCentric and President/Owner of Sunshine Media Productions, LLC.  Ms. Ortiz began her television career in local news in Philadelphia at Fox 29 and NBC 10. She later moved into Spanish-language television as an associate producer for HBO’s “Inside the NFL” en Español and later at Univision 65 WUVP-TV in Philadelphia, where she was responsible for marketing and communications.

In addition to her broadcasting experience, Ms. Ortiz has a strong background in public relations, generating national and international media coverage for major sporting events.

Erica earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Rowan University in 1999 and also, a master’s in corporate public relations in 2004. She is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and Women in Film & Video of Washington, D.C.
